Jude Carr, PA-C, ATC
Jude is a native of High Point, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. He later went on to receive his Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His Master’s research was on the admission criteria for Physician Assistants and their board success rates which has been presented at the national level.
Prior to attending Wake Forest University, Jude was one of the original staff members of Carolina Family Practice & Sports Medicine. He worked as a clinical assistant and assisted with many of the administrative and technological duties in the clinic.
Jude is also well known in the soccer community as he has been a referee for the past 12 years. He is a two time winner of the North Carolina Youth Referee of the Year, and officiates from youth to college and professional levels including the ACC, NCAA, and US Soccer.
In addition to practicing medicine in NC Jude has traveled to the Dominican Republic for medical mission work. In his spare time he enjoys being with his family and friends, traveling, soccer, golf, movies and music.
